R.H. Quaytman - חקק, Chapter 29 - Tel Aviv Museum of Art 2015
Published on the occasion of R.H. Quaytman’s 2015 exhibition Haqaq / Chapter 29 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The publication focuses on a new body of paintings developed in response to the museum’s architecture and to Quaytman’s research into Israeli history, archaeology and visual culture. Her characteristically precise, layered panels combine photographic images, geometric structures, painted surfaces and references drawn from historical and personal sources. With texts by Mark Godfrey, Annie Bourneuf and R.H. Quaytman, alongside an introduction by Suzanne Landau, the book provides an important account of one of the artist’s most significant early institutional exhibitions.
