The Listening Room is not apart but within, shaping the rhythm of the house.
Two Altec A7 speakers stand like sculptural monoliths, grounding the room in both presence and sound. An EMT 938 turntable, paired with two Altec 1569A tube amplifiers, delivers warmth and clarity from a discreet position just behind the scene.
The music chosen is never incidental. At times it is quiet, meditative, almost like a companion to reading. At others, it swells—loud, physical, an open invitation to move, even to dance.
