Produced by Joe Boyd, Bryter Layter features arrangements by Robert Kirby and contributions from John Cale, Ed Carter, Mike Kowalski and members of Fairport Convention. A seminal recording of Drake’s intimate songwriting, balancing acoustic guitar with understated orchestration and jazz-inflected arrangements.
