Jim C. Nedd ranks among the most captivating photographers of his generation. Remembering Songs, Nedd’s debut monograph, culminates six years photographing his native Colombia in over 300 full-color reproductions, featuring an introduction by Beatriz E. Balanta and an interview with the artist by Octavia Bürgel. A delicate balance of staged and documentary photography, Nedd’s distinct visual language is spun from local mythologies, personal nostalgia and speculative fiction.
