Ellsworth Kelly - Line Form Color - Harvard University Art Museums 1999
In 1951, Ellsworth Kelly submitted a series of drawings and collages for a book to be entitled Line, Form and Color, for a John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship. The application was unsuccessful, and the studies were not shown until 1996, in the exhibition Ellsworth Kelly: A Retrospective, at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. With this present volume, Kelly realized his original project, published as part of the exhibition and designed with Takaaki Matsumoto.
