Gavin Bryars - Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet - Edizioni Notae 2021

Luigi Castiglioni (Edizioni Notae) creates the first artist book conceived to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Gavin Bryars' icon: Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet.

Printed at the Tipoteca Italiana of Cornuda in September 2021. Made in typographic printing on an original Nebiolo Atena machine from 1963, the work consists of 80 unnumbered pages 50x35cm format on Fabriano Tiepolo 290gsm paper inside shirt and case to which the 33 rpm vinyl record is attached.

The fiftieth anniversary recurrence is completed by the sung loop recorded 50 times – 25 on Side A and 25 on Side B -.

Limited edition of 140 copies with autograph signature by Gavin Bryars. 120 copies numbered from 1/120 to 120/120.
