Belgian artist Peter Morrens (born 1965) combines language, sound and image in a variety of media: from paintings and drawings to photographs, installations and performances. With unsettling humour and poignant images, the artist questions the things around him. Morrens works intuitively and associatively. He uses chance, doubt and unexpected connections to shape his oeuvre.
Or rather: his Oeeeeeuuuuvre. This monograph, published in collaboration with M Leuven, offers insight into his diverse artistic practice, which spans more than 35 years. The richly illustrated book brings together old and new work, room views and archive material.
