Sophie Podolski - Le pays ou tout est permis - Transédition 1979
Published by Transédition in Brussels in 1979, this edition brings together the writings and graphic work of Belgian poet and artist Sophie Podolski (1953–1974). Originally conceived in 1971, the book combines fragmented prose, handwritten texts, drawings and visual experiments in an intensely personal form of writing that moves between poetry, autobiography and graphic expression. Closely associated with the underground artistic milieu of Brussels and the Montfaucon Research Center, Podolski produced a singular work that remains an important document of the counterculture of the early 1970s.
