Deadpan, "the modern man fanzine" by Artus de Lavilléon, Art special issue, in a deluxe boxed-set.
Born in 1970, Artus de Lavilléon is a french artist whose work focuses on both the "brutal testimony of lived experience" and the "archiving of the everyday".
Best known for his large-scale black-and-white drawings, he has worked on numerous projects: exhibitions, installations, performances, photos, books, fanzines, plays, and founded various venues and magazines.
Well-known for his three-week stint in the Printemps store windows and his performance Consumérisme, he is the founder of the Art Posthume movement, which advocates life over art, amateurism over the professionalism of nothing, and the right "not to do in order to be, but to be in order to be".
