Ellsworth Kelly - Ligne Forme Couleur - Actes Sud 2018

Catalogue of the exhibition "Line, Form, Colour: Ellsworth Kelly (1923–2015) in French Collections", presented at the Collection Lambert in Avignon (5 July – 4 November 2018).

This collection offers an insight into how Kelly, throughout his career, explored the possibilities offered by the printed image, from his first lithograph, produced at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1949, to the monumental works on paper from the 2000s.

For the first public presentation of this exceptional donation, the Collection Lambert in Avignon has chosen to accompany it with a selection of Kelly’s works – paintings, drawings, collages and prints – which are now held in French collections, both public and private.
