Peter De Potter - All Statues Sing Protest Songs - Idea 2017
Antwerp visual artist, writer, curator, educator and extolled image-maker Peter De Potter, forever immortalised as the designer behind ‘The Life of Pablo’ and ‘Raf Simons Redux’. ll Statues Sing Protest Songs explores youth culture’s social relationship with the internet as seen by the Belgian artist Peter De Potter. According to the long-time Raf Simons collaborator, he “worked hard to make each image to stand on its own; each one is like a pocket pamphlet”. The book comes with a zine-like booklet that acts as a compressed version of the book, but with different images. “It’s on cheap paper and has a xeroxed look, which is a good companion to the more polished feel of the book itself".
