Internship
Saint-Martin Bookshop is looking for a part-time intern to work in our Brussels shop. Intern works 11 am to 7 pm for either two or three days each week. Ideal candidate is self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively; have excellent writing in EN. Intern MUST speak digital (social & web).
We don’t have formal “departments” at Saint-Martin Bookshop, so our intern has the opportunity to participate in a wide range of tasks—ranging from editorial to publicity/marketing, to sales & to edition, over the course of a season. Given the nature of independent bookstore, a significant portion of the internship is spent dealing with the nuts-and-bolts nitty-gritty details and administrative aspects of running a small business. That said, we do try to tailor the internship as best we can to our intern’ strengths and interests.
Primary responsibilities for this internship include shooting & writing original content for our website and our online shop; drawing up social media campaigns optimised for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook) as needed; and general bookshop tasks.
