Muller Van Severen - Book - Luster 2014

The work of photographer Fien Muller and artist Hannes Van Severen encompasses both art and design: they favor functional furniture, refined in shape and contours, yet at the same time the pieces also have something fragile and frivolous about them. The husband-wife design duo set out on a one-off project leading them down a path to success amongst the design world.
The book, focuses on the method and theories of the designers. It is divided into three main sections - Introduction, Process and Objects. Also included are texts based on interviews with the designers themselves, the design journalist Chris Meplon and the London curator and critic Max Fraser.
