Hamish Fulton - A walking artist - Arnaud Bizalion Éditeur 2023
For almost fifty years, Hamish Fulton has been developing a body of committed work tackling major environmental issues and challenges our societies face today. Since the early 1970s, this British artist has crisscrossed the world on foot. He has completed several hundred walks, covering thousands of kilometers, which together constitute his entire body of work. These solitary artistic experiments incorporate a diversity of practices that "attempt" to translate the experience of these walks: photographs, texts, photo-texts, drawings, murals, artist's books, public readings...
Including: texts and photographs from the artist's walks, interview with Hamish Fulton, Muriel Enjalran and Nadine Gomez - cross interview with Hamish Fulton and Camille de Toledo. Translation Brice Matthieussent.
