Giuliana Gramigna has put together with Sergio Mazza this vast chronological repertory containing entries for 3100 objects subdivided by functional type (lamps, tables, chairs, armchairs, sofas, beds, bookcases, etc.) designed by 510 mostly Italian designers (including Castiglioni, Cerri, Cini Boeri, Giotto Stoppino, Magistretti, Mangiarotti, Mendini, Scarpa, Sottsass, Starck, Zanuso) for Arflex, Arteluce, Artemide, Azucena, B&B, Bonacina, Cappellini, Cassina, Driade, Flos, Fontana Arte, Gavina, Kartell, Memphis, O-Luce, Poltronova, Quattrifolio, Zanotta and other leading design companies. The volume accompanies year by year, for fifty years, the evolution in the creativity of furniture design: half a century in which Made in Italy has clearly established itself in the world.
