To mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Gio Ponti (1891-1979), Rizzoli is reprinting, in an updated and expanded edition, the first book to break the official cultural silence surrounding his vast output, and which has since become a milestone in the study of the figure and complex activity of the great Italian architect and designer. This volume documents his work, focusing above all on that which most deeply penetrated everyday life through his objects, environments, colours and decorations.
