"In the catalogue for one of my recent exhibitions in Milan, I followed the work presented here with a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche: “The easiest thing is also the most difficult: to see with your own eyes what is right under your nose". I appropriated this quote, convinced that it defines in a basic and exemplary way the essential relationship between the observed image and the observer. Thus, the only reference is to the eye and memory. The eye and memory to see beyond. Therefore, the images: ALPHABET for the eyes." -Claudio Parmiggiani
