Over the last decade, AnOther Magazine has created the template for the 21st Century Magazine, employing the form as a gallery space in which artists, fashion designers and literary rebels have been invited to reinvent the format entirely. From the early days when publisher Jefferson Hack worked with art editor Mark Sanders and occasional collaborator Neville Wakefield on a modus operandi to hand over space traditionally used for advertising to artists, to the radical reinvention of the interview format introduced by its current arts overseer Hans Ulrich Obrist, the magazine has provided an arena for some of the most interesting and experimental interventions in contemporary culture to ever have been committed to print.
