Christopher Wool - Cats in bag, bags in river - Boymans-van Beuningen Museum 1991

Half artist's book half exhibition catalogue, this book was published in conjunction with the exhibition held atMuseum Boijmans-van Beuningen, Rotterdam, in 1991, which traveled to Kunstverein Köln the same year.
The early 1990s saw Christopher Wool turn towards silkscreened imagery, a technique he continues to use to the present, opening up new possibilities of scale and process for him. 
The first volume includes images of Wool's work as arranged by the artist in faux color photocopies. Second volume consists only of text, and includes a brief forward by Wim Crouwel and Marianne Stockebrand, an "Outline for a book on Christopher Wool" by Glenn O'Brien, a biography of the artist, and a bibliography.
