Thomson & Craighead

Thomson & Craighead - Flat Earth - MEWO 2013

Published on the occasion of Thomson & Craighead’s two solo exhibitions, first at MEWO Kunsthalle, Memmingen, Germany 'Not even the sky', and at Dundee Contemporary Arts, 'Maps DNA and Spam', devoted to them as pioneers in creating art in the field of new media for nearly twenty years.
The publication complements both shows by presenting a timely and detailed survey of their works. It seeks to posit a model for other inventory - like approach in the complex area of documenting time - based art and new media.
The book contains a foreword by Axel Lapp, essays by Dundee Fellow Sarah Cook and DCA Director Clive Gillman as well as an interview with the artists by Steve Rushton. Edited by Sarah Cook
