Copyright 1956 by Bruno Munari, this very nice Italian copy of Nella notte Buia is form the 4th edition. With its mythical black cardboard pages and its transparent sheets and pages pierced in the shape of a cave, the book was rejected by Valentino Bompiani, who in front of the manuscript said, "Ah, nice! You are always so curious and strange, doing such things.... But this is not a book, where is the text?"
