Martin Jacobson - Rerik 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973 and other photographs - Self-published 2005
This very curious book from Martin Jacobson (b. 1978, Sweden) was published on the occasion of the artist's exhibition at Galleri Peep, Malmö, Sweden.
It contains vernacular photographs found at a Berlin flea market, figuring a man alone in the countryside. Behind these photos was always noted "Rerik", the name of a seaside resort on the northern coast of Germany. The artist recounts his journey in the footsteps of this unknown man, as well as the other places he found in this box.
Self published - 2005
