Irmel Kamp - Architekturbilder - König 2022
In a comprehensive overview of her series of images created since 1978, the publication presents the photographic work of Irmel Kamp.
For several years, this work, which focuses on architectural themes, has been one of the artistic discoveries of a typologically oriented b&w photography that is characterized by individual perspectives and cultural-historical as well as sociological-atmospheric references.
It presented works from the work groups Zink (1978-82), Tel Aviv (1988-90), Brussel (1996/97), and Moderne in Europa (2000-12), as well as some photographs taken in Haifa (1996) following Tel Aviv.
Published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Museum für Photographie Braunschweig (2022) and the Leopold-Hoesch-Museum, Düren (2023).
