Jos de Gruyter & Harald Thys - Das Wunder des Lebens - Sternberg Press 2014

This book is made from drawings made in a basement in Brussels during the winter of 2009. They were first shown at Kunsthalle Basel from January 16 until March 14, 2010, in an exhibition with the title "Projekt 13." After this exhibition, they went back to the basement and stayed there for a few years. They were rediscovered in the beginning of 2014 after a site visit to Kunsthalle Wien. It was decided that "Projekt 13" had to be exposed again in a different form in Vienna. The result of this decision was the exhibition "Das Wunder des Lebens". During the show, an audio guide describes each drawing in German. In this book, a transcript of this audio guide is printed as an index in German and English.
