Numbered first edition of the famous worldly essay of savoir-vivre by Eugène Marsan, a French writer, journalist and literary critic born in 1882 and died in 1936. A member of the Club des Longues moustaches, which from 1908 to 1911 brought together a host of talented people at the Caffè Florian, concerned with good living and good writing, Marsan published Notre Costume in 1926, a reflection on the costume of his time, dealing with the abandonment of smoking and habit, shoes, hats, the choice of tie, shirts and other accessories of masculine elegance.
