Marc Camille Chaimowicz - Café du Rêve - Editions du Regard 1991

Artist’s book on reverie continuing the theme of Chaimowicz’s first publication Dream: An Anecdote (1977) and perhaps his most ambitious book project at the time. The book is structured like a journal that travels between the desert, the park and the hotel room using a collage of polaroids, postcards and texts in combination with MCC’s characteristic motifs. An important example of the artists’ pairing of text and image as well as his early experiments with book form.
