This important monograph by Germano Celant documents the entire artistic career (from 1968 to 1989) of Giuseppe Penone, one of the great protagonists of the bad artistic season. Born in Garessio, Cuneo, in 1947, Giuseppe Penone develops his artistic research taking as reference the elements of nature and the problems of the individual-environment relationship. As part of his work, he uses the most diverse techniques: from sculpture to photography and slide projection. Among his most famous works: the series of "Trees" and that of "Forms and projections in plaster".
