Tore Sandhal - Stolen Moments - Self-published 2007
Sandhal's black and white pictures were taken between 1990 and 1995 during his travels through France, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and Czech Republic. These photos are displayed without titles or any other indications that would give the viewer more detailed information about the person or occasion visible in the picture. This series of photographs is more like the discovery of an accidental collection. It's similar to looking at abstract frames showing life as a series of more and less important moments floating away in time.
This series was presented at Latvia's Museum of Photography in 2011, after the book was nominated for the “Year's Best Photographic Book” in Stockholm.
