Amanda Ross-Ho - Prestel 2012
Ranging from acrylic canvas wall pieces and large-scale photo collages, to paintings and installations, Amanda Ross-Ho's work can be understood as a series of gestures in which objects and images are gathered and transformed into photographs, sculptures, and installations. This volume coincides with an exhibition of Ross-Ho's work at MOCA and acts as an index of her production. Essay by curator Rebecca Morse discusses how and why Ross-Ho's work, which is intrinsically self-reflective and layered with meaning, fosters such a sense of connectivity in her audience. Interview between Ross-Ho and MIT List Visual Arts Center Curator Joao Ribas.
