Records and Covers by Artists was published on occasion of the traveling exhibition (Bremen, Barcelona, Porto, Paris, Moscow, Besançon) which gave a comprehensive overview on the collection in its completeness and uniqueness. It became a reference book for the variety of music, sound and language experiments by visual artists on records and other published material, beginning with 1920s avant-garde until recent experiments.
