As one of the most prominent art photographers in Belgium, D.B. tends to play with such photographic parameters as light, focus and framing in order to create highly individual images. 
His b&w photos picture lost moments and corners and reveal the blind spots in our traditional perception.
This publication came about in collaboration with Obscuur: Fotografietijdschrift as an exhibition catalogue for the eponymous exhibition at S.M.A.K., Ghent, from August 18 to November 18, 2001.
