Riccardo Brey - Universe - SMAK/MER. 2006
The project Universe consists of 1004 drawings made by Ricardo Brey between the autumn of 2002 and the spring of 2003, displayed in 99 iron and glass showcases. It was presented for the first time at the S.M.A.K Gent in October 2006. The Universe represents not only the description of a fictional cosmos but also an encyclopedia of the most diverse materials and techniques that Brey has been using in his work for 30 years.
